Meridian Community Spotlight:

Although considered part of Boise’s metropolitan area, Meridian is growing a reputable name for itself. Established in 1893, Meridian was incorporated as a village in 1903 with a population of approximately 200 and a bustling business center. As one of the fastest growing city in Idaho since 1994, it continues to attract new residents by its small town spirit and endless opportunities. Meridian's motto is "Built for Business and Designed for Living”.

Community involvement, family friendly environment and safety are the city’s primary concerns.  It continues to produce low crime rates and a clean city.  Residents want a stable and safe environment to raise their family. You can find almost any kind of recreational fun ranging from water parks, race carts, golfing and biking.  You can enjoy the amities of being 20 minutes from shopping and having scenic Idaho in your backyard. A creamery was built in 1897, and other dairy-related businesses followed, as Meridian established itself as a dairy center for the state. This part of the community’s history is still celebrated annually during Meridian Dairy Days celebrated annually in June.

Meridian school district takes pride in the quality of their teachers and ensuring students continue their education after high school. They have received numerous awards in outstanding achievements in these categories. They offer other educational choices in Charters schools and magnet programs.

This is an example of a product designed and produced in PKG’s facilities. For some of us this may look a bit complex but for the hardworking employees at PKG, working with these products comes as a second nature.

Does this look familiar? Yes. PKG produces a variety of products ranging from full-travel keyboards, membrane switches, touch screens, trackballs and pointing device.

“We at PKG are truly fortunate to live and work in beautiful Idaho.”
