Aaron Davis (Trade Specialist—Department of Commerce) will be attending MINExpo 2008 to assist Idaho mining-related service providers and equipment vendors who are attending the show to engage with visitors from some of Mexico’s largest mines. MINExpo is the world’s largest mining trade show and every four years attracts mining company representatives from all over the world.
Please contact Aaron Davis at (208) 334-2470 or aaron.davis@trade.idaho.gov if you plan to attend the show and would like to be introduced to these Mexican mine representatives or receive other assistance at MINExpo 2008.
Several Mexican mining company representatives will return to Idaho with Aaron Davis after MINExpo 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada, to participate in site visits to Idaho companies and to engage in other networking activities. This is an excellent opportunity for Idaho’s mining-related equipment manufacturers and service providers to build relationships with the representatives of some of Mexico’s largest mines and mining companies. Thursday’s (25 September) activities will be centered around the Boise area, and Friday (26 September) the group will travel to northern Idaho to engage with companies located in the Coeur d’ Alene area. These activities are a direct result of Governor Otter’s April 2008 trade mission to Mexico where several of Idaho’s mining-related equipment manufacturers and service providers met with some of Mexico’s most powerful and influential mines.
Please contact Aaron Davis at (208) 334-2470 or aaron.davis@trade.idaho.gov if you are interested in facilitating a site visit to your company or participating in additional networking activities that will take place during the two-day visit.
Held at Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge, Riggins
