Everyone is invited to attend a special session on Urban Renewal Principles and Practice: Guidance for a Viable Future.
The session will be an opportunity to take a closer look at this strategic tool. Specialist will address four key urban renewal dimensions in this insightful two-hour panel discussion.
The panel will be facilitated by Tom Hudson, a Certified Main Street Manager. Panelists and topics will include:
Ryan Armbruster, Attorney: Urban Renewal Law Intent vs. Experience; Why Idaho’s Legislature is Concerned
Susan Buxton, Attorney: Best and worst practices in Urban Renewal district management
Gary Marks, City Administrator, Ketchum, Idaho: Management and Operations
Jeff Jones, Executive Director, Moscow Urban Renewal Agency, Moscow, Idaho: Deal Structure
This session will be held July 18, 2012 at the Riverside Hotel from 3:15-5:15.
