Mr. Jewell is co-founder and managing partner at Blackfin Technology, one of the Northwest's leading boutique software development firms. Mr. Jewell was raised in Idaho, is a graduate of UCLA (B.A. Political Science, B.A. History, (1994)) and received his J.D. with honors from Cornell Law School (1998). He began his career with a large international law firm in Chicago and later moved to the Corporate Law group of Stoel Rives, LLP where he focused on project finance and emerging businesses. Mr. Jewell is actively involved in the region's venture capital community, including serving a term on the Advisory Board of Highway 12 Ventures and serving on the board of Balihoo.com. He was founder and president of Kickstand.org, was actively involved in the Intermountain Venture Forum and was a founding member of the Idaho Chapter of YEO-a global organization of successful entrepreneurs. |

Ms. Woods is Founder and President of Alturas Analytics, Inc., a pharmaceutical testing lab located in Moscow. Since graduating in 1987 from Washington State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology/Genetics, Robin has been involved in starting two Idaho businesses, Anatek Labs, Inc. (1992) and Alturas Analytics, Inc. (2000) both located in Moscow. Robin also enjoys volunteering her time for community services and is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Gritman Medical Center Board of Trustees, a member of the Latah Economic Development Council, and is a commissioner on the Moscow Urban Renewal Agency. Robin is dedicated to the economic growth, development and vitality of Moscow, Latah County and the State of Idaho. |

In 1996 Mr. Sayer founded Premier Technology, Inc. a Construction Management firm that 12 years later has grown to be one of Southeast Idaho's largest employers. The success of Premier was driven by Doug's extensive experience in manufacturing and his futuristic perspective. Doug currently serves on the Governor's Science and Technology Advisory Council along with Idaho's Workforce Development and recently spearheaded the creation of the Rural Idaho Outreach Partners. His service on these committees enables him to reach out and promote both his community's and rural communities' economic growth. Because of his efforts Doug was recently recognized by receiving the State Small Business Person of the Year Award. Meanwhile, Premier continues to flourish because of Doug's passion for excellence. |

Mr. Warbis is Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter's communications director. He previously was communications director for then-Congressman Otter for five years, and a reporter and editor with The Associated Press for 21 years. Mark has a bachelor's degree in political science from Boise State University. In his current job he is responsible for managing and coordinating message development and delivery for Governor Otter. His lead policy areas are Economic Development and Energy. In addition, he is the Governor's senior special assistant and liaison for the Idaho Department of Commerce, Department of Labor, Department of Correction, Department of Juvenile Corrections, Commission of Pardons and Parole, Office of Energy Resources, and the Idaho Transportation Department. |

Ken Edmunds was appointed to the State Board of Education in May 2008. Edmunds has worked in development and investments for more than 25 years. The Brigham Young University graduate with a master's degree in accounting previously was a senior executive and consultant with Ameristar Casinos, a Certified Public Accountant and manager for the accounting firm Price Waterhouse, and controller of a Twin Falls development and construction company.Edmunds and his wife, Jane, have four children and five grandsons. He currently is president of the Idaho Youth Soccer Association, vice-chair of the Twin Falls Community Foundation, a member of the Southern Idaho Economic Development Organization's board of directors, and serves on the Higher Education Research Committee for the State Board of Education. |

Mike Wilson began his career with Price Waterhouse in Seattle, and most recently served as interim executive director of Connect Northwest, a Spokane based non-profit that supported entrepreneurs and early stage companies, providing access to coaching, mentoring and capital. In that position, Wilson helped manage the activities of the Delta Angel Group, was instrumental in establishing a network of relationships with other angel groups in the Pacific Northwest, and managed relationships with diverse economic development organizations and tech transfer groups in the region. He has served as interim executive director of the University of Idaho Foundation, CFO of Vivato, a Spokane and San Francisco based startup, and also worked for Advanced Input Systems, Coeur d’Alene, participating in the stabilization, leveraged buyout and eventual sale of AIS to Esterline Technologies. He is a member and a past chairman of the Idaho Health Facilities Authority, a former member of the Advisory Board of the University of Washington Tech Transfer Launch Pad program and has served on the University of Idaho College of Business and Economics Advisory Board and the Alumni Association, including one year as its president. Wilson has been an active investor in private businesses and local angel and venture funds. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Idaho.

Mr. Stolworthy is the Deputy Director for Battelle Energy Alliance’s Technology Transfer and Commercialization Department. Jason also leads the commercialization of Idaho National Laboratory’s (INL) energy and materials patent portfolios and has been successful in forming many successful relationships with commercial partners. Jason has developed strong and diverse expertise in identifying, evaluating, licensing, exploiting and securing intellectual assets. Jason chairs INL’s patent committee, was appointed by Idaho Governor C. L “Butch” Otter to the Idaho Innovation Council, has served as vice chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Idaho State Bar, has publications in the areas of chemical engineering and intellectual property, offers volunteer services in patent drafting and family law and is involved in many Idaho based initiatives to promote the commercialization of new technology. Jason is passionate about his work and is motivated by the profound human and economic impact that commercializing new technology can have on society. Prior to working for INL Jason drafted patent applications, provided opinions, and licensed intellectual property for Washington State University Research Foundation. Jason also worked for FMC, Simplot and Chemonics. Jason graduated from Idaho State University with a B.A. in Chemistry and a B.S. in Biochemistry (1998) and from University of Idaho with a M.S. in Chemical Engineering and J.D. in Law (2003). He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Idaho State Bar, and the Montana State Bar. |

Mr. Sayer is the former President and Managing Partner of Novayx Group, a firm specializing in providing financial and business sophistication for small to medium sized businesses. In Idaho, he is best known for his role as the President and Chief Financial Officer of Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls. He began his career with Ernst & Young in Silicon Valley where he specialized in advising venture-capital funded technology companies through all stages of growth. Since then he has provided financial and executive leadership for companies ranging from start-up ventures to companies with over $500 million in sales. His experience includes corporate turnarounds, public offerings, equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and extensive involvement in corporate strategy and leadership. Active in civic affairs, Mr. Sayer serves on the board of directors for Idaho Governors Cup, Idaho Falls Auditorium District, Hospice of Eastern Idaho, and was a former member of the Governors Select Committee on Health Care. Mr. Sayer is a CPA and graduated from Brigham Young University.
